One of the most-loved couples in Bollywood, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to embrace parenthood for the first time. Having been together for over a decade now, fans of the couple were left ecstatic when they announced the arrival of their baby through a joint post. As netizens are eagerly waiting for Deepika to flaunt her baby bump, and amid speculation of the couple opting for surrogacy like Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, a photo of a couple posing their sonography picture went viral on social media.
In the photo a couple is seen wearing caps with the words Mom and Dad written on it. While the father-to-be sits facing away from the camera, the mommy-to-be is seen facing hugging him while facing the camera. With the hat hiding most of her face, with only her simple and dimpled smile visible, she is seen holding the photo in her hand. Originally posed by Halime Kucuk, on X (formerly known as Twitter), the photo resurfaced again with Deepika and Ranveer’s name attached to it. *Unsuspecting fans were left excited thinking that the couple has shared glimpses of their soon-to-be-born baby. Recently, Ranveer had made the headlines for deleting his wedding photos with Deepika. Tthe photos which date back to over 5 years, were missing from his Instagram account. It is yet to be made clear if the post was deleted or if he has archived it, since the rest of his lovey-dovey photos with his wifey are still very much a part of his handle. For the unversed, Deepika fell in love with Ranveer Singh while working with him for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2012 movie Ram-Leela. They got married in 2018, six years after dating each other. Being together for more than a decade, they truly are the epitome of couple goals and have set the bar high for all the lovers out there. The actors had taken to their official social media handle to share a collaborative post, announcing their pregnancy. They informed their fans that their baby will be arriving in September 2024.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Fighter alongside Hrithik Roshan. She has Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD in the pipeline. She will also be entering Rohit Shetty’s cop universe as Shakti Shetty.
